Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

City seem to have done pretty well without a big striker. I'm not sure that Haaland will play from the start in all games.
They'll be refreshing the squad in every area methinks.

Just saw Pep claim that everyone wants Liverpool to win the league? outside of Liverpool fans, I can’t imagine any neutral or opposition fan wanting that. the amount of people wanting city to beat liverpool vastly outnumbers the amount of fans city have.

Think he was referring to people in the sport, media etc. not fans.

he was trying to make out it was both, doesn't think he's getting the recognition he deserves and all that. showing some insecurity.

I thought the quotes from a few days ago about him nearly walking out were far more interesting.

“If I defend the people and the club it’s because I work with them” says the City boss. “When I asked about suspicions or if our people have done something, then I say to them, ‘tell me.’

“I said to them ‘if you lie to me, the day after I’m not here, I will be out and you will not be my friend any more.’ But I look at them and believe them 100 per cent from day one. So I defend the club because of that.

“When we put something (a sponsorship) on the shirt people say it's overpaid. They say the money has come from the state and other places - but the money is correct. It might be higher, but it is correct. They have to handle that.”

if the Premier League ever brings a successful case against City, highly doubtful but in my opinion needed now it could prevent Newcastle's rise to the top.

I wonder how he'll reflect about his achievements and plead innocence about it all.

Arsed about that. Pipe down all the RS media clowns for one thing.

Even their victory parades are embarrassing. You'd think after being irrelevant for so long they'd turn out in their thousands to celebrate. & if you go on their Bluemoon website all they seem to do is moan about not getting recognition for their achievements. As we showed on Sunday, a show of passion from the supporters can make a massive difference to a game of football.
You're talking sh!te pal. We've had over one hundred thousand fans tun up at two parades in 2013 and 2018.

This 110%.

Getting bought by Gulf states saps any fan culture and passion out of those clubs, yes you win trophies but it all feels fake like the clubs have a feel of a corporation or business, everything about City and PSG is to executive, blingy, slick and pristine.

Be interesting to watch those passionate Geordies evolve into something of a sterile support in the coming years.
110% a lie. no surprise you liked it.
