The rags wouldn't employ someone as CEO without doing due diligence. If City are found guilty then it's jail time for a lot of our execs, including Berrada. More likely they know the charges are going nowhere.
Also he wasn't our CEO, he was cheif operations officer. About 8 rungs down the ladder from a CEO. Rags have given him a massive pay rise and a far bigger job. He was responible for bringing in a lot of our sponsors and is one of the reasons our commercial revenues have rocketed. The rags want a slice of that pie.

Just watched the Pep documentary on BBC iPlayer. Was very interesting, but it’s hard to ignore him having an insanely gifted squad at Barca, and almost unlimited funds at City.
