Not going to lie, think he's been poor in the main, especially from a creative perspective, so far this season but hopefully that second half performance can be more like the norm from now on.

He's getting played as a second striker rather than pulling the strings.

I think we could play him a smidgen deeper, in a 433, and he'd see more of the match. Would mean bringing our wingers inside a bit though.

How do you enjoy footy mate?

I`m just pragmatic mate, we`ve been here before with him.

I`d have been made up if he got a hat trick today, as it`d have given all of the team a big lift, not just him.

However I`m struggling to think of the last time he strung two good games together, hence why I`m not getting too excited.

Absolutely, I think it would suit him better being a bit deeper, he's not on the ball often enough where he is now. I think Bernard would suit behind the striker with Gylfi and Gana in the middle if he wants to play this system, only my opinion of course, Marco knows better than me.
