It was the first time I've seen him that confident with the ball at his feet. Actually took on players did everything he needed to do including some brilliant free kicks early on.

Ran around a lot, a few good passes. Nothing more.

Best game for us so far. Put good players around him who can pull defenders around and he's able to pick the pass into space. Who knew? Really excited by this front line we've got, there are goals all across it and the more they play the better they will get. Add in Bernard as well.... not bad. We need Mr Mina to hit the ground running and claim that cb spot next to holgate and that's a pretty good team imo.

Who cares? Seriously, who gives a darn? He's not a holding mid, I'm not sure why so many are so obessed with him holding the ball or making MORE passes. I don't want him holding the ball, I want him creating opportunities via one touch and scoring goals from outside the box. It's the production out of those touches in areas where we can score goals is what I care about.

Aye. Quality not quantity. Let Gana and a couple of others chase opposition and let Gylffi pop up when needed for a killer pass. Le Tiss wasn't known for the number of touches per game.
