He’s a weird one. Never thought he was a bad guy like Schneiderlin for example. But he was dire last season and looked scared. I’m sure he trains well is professional etc but something is wrong. Probably down to confidence and a move away is best for all concerned.

I also can’t get my head around why his set pieces went to pot. They’ve never been that good here but at Swansea seemed to be on the money every time....

I think the close proximity of the pitch at goodison plays a part because we've always been horrific at corners for as long as i remember, even though we've had some terrific dead ball specialists.

Think there's a few factors though which goes past the set play. I don't see many of our players run into the box and attack a ball like ferguson would. They all seem to stand and jump or jump off two paces, it's been like that for a very long time. I could be wrong, but those are the images i get in my head.
