Thought he pressed well in first half but his....everything else was pretty poor. His little lofted ball about 25 minutes in was like 5 yards too long. His passes didn't come off very often either.

I just find him so peculiar. "He scores goals" is what everyone says and he has. But that's usually the only thing he does in those matches. Some matches he does a ton but nothing comes off.

Plays every week regardless because of his price tag. If we hadn't spent so much on him we'd have tried other systems by now

We should have been dominating that midfield. I know we sort of bossed the game, but them 3 up against billing who’s a big lad but nothing special and cook hasn’t played for a year. We should be offering so much more. But Schneiderlin tends to go back or square, Delph got about the pitch, but he even he gave the ball away. And never looks a goal threat and siggurdsson yet again didn’t grab the game.

And a couple times he had opportunities to put players through he wasted them, but he got 13 goals last season so it’s ok. I know the manager has been unlucky with losing gbamin & Gomes, but still he can change the system or try something different, especially away from home as nothing is really working

Nothing whatsoever worked today and my take on the game was a very ineffective midfield that hardly gave any support or chances to our forwards.
We have a long way to go to even get a sniff at the 6 .....which seems to be the target and has been for a while now....
Top is top anywhere else is a bit of a failure..
Just my opinion though

I see people saying drop him for x,y,z, if your gonna drop him, drop him to play a different formation if anything, x,y,z will face the same problems as Iceland does.

We've not even got good players for a 4-3-3. The midfield isn't that great.

Bernard should be back out wide with Iwobi in the middle.

Iwobi for me would suit being central as he has the pace and power to get into the box / carry the ball forward.

Agree but if silva insists on playing this formation it wouldn't hurt to try a different type of player in that role like iwobi who can actually carry the ball and go past players instead of playing the slouch week in week out regardless of form

He will be MOTM next week and im gonna be vaulting everybody, but he stank today, the whole god damn team stank tho, people feel the need to dig individual players out, I didnt see anybody that impressed me today, not even a tiny bit.

And then he'll be utterly anonymous for 3 games, rinse and repeat, that's the problem with him

Marcel ... so where does the motivation come from..
These so called players are on a fortune, to turn out for your club and not put 100 percent in is unforgivable
We all could see how poor we were today ... no need to pick individuals... somebody has too
