Anonymous again today. Good player, but, there are too many games in which you would never know he was on the pitch.

He doesn't fit into how modern football is played. He just slows the game down and he doesn't move the ball quick enough. For me he sort of epitomises how we attack. Slow, neat and tidy, keeps the ball but doesn't really do anything effective. Granted he is a proven regular goalscorer but we aint seeing that atm.

Thought he got a bit more involved than previous games but that's not really hard as he's practically invisible in those games. Drop him and put Iwobi in the middle.

It was possible to play Sigurdsson when you had the speed of Gueye buzzing around midfield trying to break up opposition play and getting possession back for us.

A static midfield of Sigurrdson and Schneiderlin simply does not work.
I honestly cannot see how Tom Davies is not getting a start ahead of either of them.

Started bright then offered absolutely nothing, He can't play off the striker anymore it's causing a hindrance to us than the opposing team, Change the formation or just play two up top.

We need to mix it up on away fixtures at least as doing the same thing and getting the same dire results is insanity. Next game he doesn't need to start and let him come off the bench and enjoy the last thirty minutes to conjure up something.

I honestly don’t know whether to blame Silva or Gylfi for his lack of involvment. Is Silva instructing him to remain static and sit in man-marking? We desperately need another option. He really struggles against packed defenses.

Absolutely abysmal as usual but his fan club will be giving it the big one when he taps in the third against Sheffield United after he turns up at home again.

He is not good enough, no other top half team would indulge him. None.

It's both of them tbh, he is a luxury player and players like him should always start from the bench rather than in the team, it is a team game after all and he just does'nt contribute to being part of that for large parts of games. He only starts because he 'might' score imo, well he would still do that from the bench or coming on at half time. I think the problem is that he really seems to have something in his contract that suggests he must start every game regardless of form or fitness. I also think he is a huge part of the reason we are playing this stupid 4-2-3-1 formation, just so we can fit him in.
