When did he play there for Swansea? I only ever remember him playing behind Bony/Llorente or from the left. The only team he's played CM for was Iceland and as impressive as they were at times the first real team they played, France, sliced them open. By the World Cup he wasn't playing CM anymore.

And only Davies because Gomes is out. If we are going to play with two box to box types instead of a true #10 those guys have to have the legs to get into the attack when it is on and to get back when they need to. Sigurdsson won't be doing that.

I wouldn't say he is a better player as such but I do think he is the type of player we need in that role, as you say, someone who runs at the opposition.

Iwobi may be able to do that, time will tell.

No player will be able to do it, centrally - when they're so far up the pitch without the space in front of them.

Add in the emphasis to put everything on the wing.
