Wouldn't mind sending him to Italy or somewhere that plays at a slower place in January and replacing him with a more B2B central midfielder.

90% of the forum is crying over that jarg little tackle midget who didnt win us a single game in his whole 3 years, whilst at the same time begging that we drop our most effective player for some lad who used to run around a lot for Arsenal.

So if its ok with you lot, I will retain my own thoughts and disregard yours.

COYB

I never really rated the lad who used to run around a lot for Arsenal Goat. The first season he was with us he was gash, he started last season really well, then became inconsistent, (but credit for the goals he scored) and up to now this season he's been poor. As I always say mate, it's all about opinions, you rate him highly, I don't, but I totally respect your opinion.

I dont even rate him highly.

I would replace him tomorrow, as long we had a better option.

Not having a great season. Can't play him and Schneiderlin at the same time, too slow in the middle.
It doesn’t stop Silva from playing them together, although his hands are tied to some extent with the injuries to Gomes and the lad they signed from Germany in the summer ( forgot his name, no disrespect)

This is exactly the type of player we need to get shut of and never ever sign ever again. It’s not that he couldn’t be effective in the right side. We just should not be building a side that accommodates a very limited player.

By the time we have the type of players around him to be successful, he will be 34 and declining. No thanks. Not worth it.

No chance anyone is signing him. His 30 and on 150k a week.
No one will pay the transfer fee or the wages.

He has 2 more seasons here by which time he will be almost 33. Which leaves him with lucrative choices to China or the USA.
His thought this through
I hope this season counts as one of the two!!!!

I like Sigurdsson, I think he can be very effective in certain circumstances, but his effectiveness is limited beyond those occasions and building your entire team around a player that is neither exceptional at what he does and is limited when required to change tact is not a good strategy.
