Reading is pretty boring but he also played for Spurs who are quite exciting. My Spurs pal wouldn't mind getting him back.

He's a good player, and I do not hate him in any way. Like you say, he just doesn't excite me in any way either, which is weird for a player who scores great free kicks. Usually i'd be all over that.

It was a mystery fee I think mate, but Reading did claim it was a new club record fee received at the time I believe

I'm a massive Rooney fan. I ignore some of the sh1te spouted on here. Yes, the Rooney deal probably works financially, due to image etc.. , but Koeman is no mug either, so he wouldn't take a player if he didn't see value to the squad.
 
I really like siguardsson, proven Premiership experience and fine footballer. I think his experience will be vital with so much youth in the side. Not sure I'd want to pay over 30m for him though, but that is what has happened to transfer fees this summer. However siguardsson is a very intelligent player, just maybe baines can be rejuvenated in his play, if he can build a similar understanding with siguardsson, like he had with piennar.

I just think Sigurdsson looks alright in a terrible Swansea team, add to that his set pieces and it's convinced loads of people he's the creative player we need and I'm not keen.

He costs what he costs, honestly, why do you care how much he costs?

You have done nothing but suggest we sign him, why should the price bother you?
