What he doesn't have is pace, have to say I'd take a punt on Mahrez. Surprised we aren't linked to more lesser known creative talents given we have Walsh scouring the continent.

this is the one we need most imo. Especially if we get giroud. Siggurdsson and Llorente were pretty lethal last season when i thought llorente would be a bit of a flop, but if we brough those two in they'd compliment eachother brilliantly. People say about him replacing ross, he's only a set piece specialist. A goal is a goal, doesn't matter where it comes from, every team gets plenty of corners and plenty of set plays, barkley has been taking pretty much all of ours for a couple of years now and they've all been pretty poor, so i don't understand that argument.
He also offers so much more than just that too. Him, klaassen and sandro roaming around all 3 of those attacking spots behind giroud with rooney and barkley in waiting on the bench is a whole bunch of good options to me.

I couldn't agree more. Gylfi is so much more than a set piece specialist. Literally everything ran through him at Swansea last season. We need him (or a player like him) desperately. Ross doesn't have the footballing IQ to be that player - Gylfi does. If we sold Ross and got in Gylfi for around the same fee, it would be a good bit of business.
