Wish he’d have snapped Henderson’s ankle, maybe next time. Works his balls off for the team not very good at retaining possession but seems to come alive around the box. I’d like to see him in a diamond with Gana holding Rooney and Barkley next to him and 2 strikers probably never happen though.

If he'd played as a ten today then it wouldn't have been any different. I don't blame him for not doing anything in the final third, rest of the team couldn't put three passes together.

Unfortunately he gets there a yard too late. So many times he looks favourite for a second ball but gets there too late.

He has quality on the ball and you can see it in glimpses .. he shouldn't be played on the left, just as Rooney shouldn't play on the right. I would have played Kev on the left as he always turns up against them lot. Then had siggy behind DCL instead of niasse. Rooney in the middle and Lennon on the right.

He worked his socks off yesterday the amount of time he was back covering Martina to double up against Salah was needed. He was also busting a gut to get forward. I have no doubt that when we can keep the ball a bit better and he has more touches we will see him go on and show his quality.

Works his ass off, but clearly doesnt trust Martina behind him. Makes him hessitant in attacking.
