Apart from he last 5 mins and those sitters he missed...he refuses to ask for the ball.

He played a lot centrally today, didn't even drop near the halfway line, pick up the ball, actively engage in the game.

He's a passenger that doesn't have the skill or pace to beat a man, the vision to pick a pass, or the ability to hold up a ball.

To be fair, he was [Poor language removed] hot last season. Made and scored some great goals and more than anyone saved Swansea when they were in the mire.

But is bang out of form and playing in a set-up that does not suits him. But yes, RK overpaid by some 20 million. It was a bad buy. Because he and Rooney are too similar. And he had already bought Klarsen. And Sandro.

If he had nailed one of those first half chances then the game would have been totally different. Now he's part of the problem because he detracts from genuine width. How many times was Gana/Rooney forced to shoot wildly when the smart pass was out wide - but there was nobody there?

he was the main creative player today and he was in the centre of the pitch not on the wing so had no excuses for being so poor.

He really wasn't though.

He already has 1 goal and 1 assist for us from open play in 7 games. That is the same record he had last year. Only thing missing are set piece goals and assists. He is touching the ball more for us and completing more passes than he did on average last year.

This isn't Siggy in poor form, this is what he is.
