Transfer Rumour Hakim Ziyech

He’s worth it for his set pieces alone as we are awful at free kicks and corners and need to make the most of these opportunities, especially playing under a Dyche system.

Also I won’t pretend to be an expert but that Ajax team that made it to the champions league semi final which he was a part of didn’t have passengers and he looked to put in a decent enough shift when I saw Morocco in the World Cup too

Probably younger than Ziyech I guess, but if age profile is what we're getting at his age seems to match what we need: proven, first team ready, able to make us better.
No, the point I was getting is that all 3 of those were not only young but deemed as stars in the making.

It’s a completely different scenario than getting Ziyech who as failed to impress. The odd glimpses of talent and question marks about his attitude.

There’s no doubt he has talent and pure skill, but it just seems like a typical Everton scattergun signing of a name rather than fitting

If they were certain these were stars Chelsea would not have let them go that easily, or at least given them more of a chance in their setup.

I can't disagree with the assessment that it's a certain risk but which Chelsea signings would be standout performers these last years anyway? Apart from Havertz they've had a lot of duds or overpriced incomings (like Ziyech or that American lad) that certainly have failed to impress, but that is in a big squad with erratic results and varying tactics. Anyone who is a world beater in that situation is far too good a player to consider leaving for us, yeah?

Not saying this is the perfect signing and probably unlikely that Dyche would want him, but out of all the options he seems to fit the profile of what we need to improve the first XI
