HAPPY FAT SAM DAY

See this loads, and it's a crock of [Poor language removed]

He won us a few games against teams we should be comfortably heating anyway

Newcastle and Huddersfield both home and away
Stoke away
Leicetser, Swansea, palace and Brighton at home

Literally most of them teams either got relegated or survived just.

We got battered by any decent team we faced, we went about 3/4 games without a shot on target, he spent about 50/60 mill in January on duds and refused to alter his playing style in when we was "safe"

He never saved us from relegation because we were about 12th the night he took over.

He is a horrid fat turd who should be banished from existing to this club

We were not looking like beating the teams we should "comfortably beat" that's why we were in the mess that we were in.

It was obvious from the start that he would only be there until the end of the season so job done and move on.

We had just beaten west ham and Watford ( I think ) at home the Two games prior to fat sam coming.

The only thing he done was made us more solid, which given the fact he sacrificed any bit of creativity we had I don't think that's a particularly hard job to do.

If it was obvious from the start why was he allowed to bring in a host of his backroom staff, why was he allowed to sign players in January? And more importantly why wasn't he sacked the minute we was "safe" as i remmeber the last home game being massively toxic that he didn't even bring his far arse out for the lap of honour or whatever it's called they do.

He is the only manager in my lifetime I don't have a single find memory of.

Disgusting Man, disgusting manager.

What fond memories of Mike Walker do you have? (depends on your age I suppose?) or Silva come to think of it!

He probably wasn't sacked because it was always more than likely going to be until the summer. Works half a year and makes sure we stay up, runs the rule over the squad and maybe implements some technology (he is quite good at that kind of thing). The second year was probably a pay off for him if he did the job he was brought in to do.

I don't think we would have went down either but we quite easily could have been caught up in the mess down there.

Also worth remembering Silva was always an option for Moshiri for some reason so he was probably waiting until the summer to give him a fresh start rather than chucking him in the deep end.

I'm all for not doing a lap of honour after a season like that. I don't care if the football was turgid for a couple of months, it was what it needed to be at first. I think he was daft not to try and play a more expansive game after we were safe but that just seems to be his way these days.

I have nothing against him personally. Don't love him or anything but meh, he is just a footnote of a pretty weird time at Everton.

If we didn’t know him and his reputation and his name was Samuele Allyrdychi we would all be taking about it as an italian master class of solid football getting us out from relegation to 8th in a few months.

We'd just won 1 in 12, a lucky 3-2 at home to Watford. Just been smashed 5-1 and 4-1 in our previous 2 games. The whole club was on a downer at the time and relegation was pretty much a possibility. Like it or not the fact he was all but announced and in the stand for the West Ham game lifted the club and I doubt we'd have got the win without it. I'm not his biggest fan and his football was terrible but he did do what he was brought in to do and nobody actually thought we'd manage to finish 8th with that squad. I actually see the rubbish you've wrote a lot and that's a crock of whatever.

Mike walker was before my time pal, Moyes was my childhood

Silva for all us flaws had us playing some excellent football at times ( I know I know ) the spell towards the end of his first season we was brilliant, especially at home... Didn't we win like 8 in a row at one point? Beating United Chelsea and arsenal?

Even koeman had a good first season, bobby had a great first season and some memorable cup runs

Allardyces tenure in charge was just grim, nobody wanted to go the games it was that bad. I think he's the single worst thing to happen to this club in my lifetime and If he had stayed on the next season I wouldn't have went the game anymore

We won both Watford and west ham at home under unsworth so one win in 12 is a lie

The 5-1 was Atalanta in the Europa which was a dead rubber ( not condoning the result btw )

I'd have rather have kept unsworth in charge for the rest of the season and finish a few places lower than have to witness the football we didn't under fatty

Is anyone remembering that before he came to us he was the managerial level of bottom dwellers seeking to avoid relegation - that is not Everton! Or that his previous gig was as England manager where he lasted one game until he was recorded taking a bung from some dubious gentlemen in the great gravy train robbery? Odious man who is an embarrassment to our club!
