Not a lie, its clear I meant previous to the West Ham game which I went on to explain. The 5-1 at home to Atalanta, who I'm sure hadn't won away all season up to that point, was a dead rubber because of how rubbish we'd been. He thought he deserved England, but apparently you can't be that conversant with the Dark Side of the Force and keep the England job.
The funny thing is that you might be right - if anyone could get this squad to grind out clean sheets playing negative football and steal some wins with a moment of magic, it's Allardyce.
However, I think that DCL, Richarlison and James would check out mentally and he'd finish mid-table on 55 or so. On the plus side, I bet James' Instagram content would be boss - he'd have to really focus on that to stay sane.

I'm a fan of sam Allardyce too and know that we would be higher in the league the last two seasons had he stayed and been backed the way carlo was this summer. But unfortunately your not allowed such an opinion to like the likes of sam and Moyes by a lot of Evertonians.

Not an Everton fan? Turn it in soft lad, I've watched them home and away for 30 years. I don't support Allardyce, I support Everton, but if you think he didn't do the job he was brought in to do you're as daft as you sound.
