Mate after what we've been through these past few years, it's very hard to be optimistic. Lampard is the best of a bad bunch.... Just goes to show where we're at now.

He wouldn't have been my first choice, but I'm warming to the idea to be honest. Don't know why, but just have the feeling he might surprise you.

Really, do we have the worst squad in the league? Don't get me wrong, there's issues in the squad in terms of individuals and overall harmony.

However, I think there's more than enough quality in the squad to put a run of games together to get us to midtable, where in reality is where this squad belongs.

I agree.

We actually have a 1st team who if fit and putting 100% effort in should be upper mid table with relative ease. Organise this mob into a cohesive formation that they are comfortable with and get that effort - should be easy to climb our of trouble.

Hopefully Frang's winner mentality will be what's instilled into some of the players.
