Harry Kane

Massive chance that his next season will be underwhelming compared to this one, doesn't make him a flash in the pan though. Happens a lot with youngsters, see Ross this year. Looks a good player though. Looking forward to the Euros next year, the media will force Roy to pick all 3 of him, Rooney and Sturridge in the team, along with Sterling. Should be an attacking line up at least.

As I've said before, I believe Kane has the potential to be overtime a 'good' Premier League striker, but arguably that may not come to fruition.

Still, dismissing him already is nothing short of premature. The mindset is either that they'll be amazing, or they are just on a purple patch.

Where is the more probable middle ground in this argument? What is wrong with congratulating the lad but waiting to see how he develops?

Then again, I do not think giving him the captain's armband yesterday was a sensible idea by Pochettino and the Spuds lot.

While he may be on form and a graduate of the club, it's a fairly large commitment and responsibility, which only raises the expectations further.

Whether not he has the attributes or not, it's his first major season. Now he's expected to score all their goals AND lead the team.

Putting these lads on a pedestal at such a young age just increases the height from which they 'may' fall and opening them up to criticism.

Remember when Jelavic was boss? Second season syndrome is real.
Jelavic hasn't done too shabbily at Hull this season with an eight goal return in a pretty dire team, and suffering injury along the way.

Firstly, his demise was due to the fact his tendency to hold off from the opposition defence and then sneak in was caught onto by our opposition.

Then for one reason or another, he was forced to play closer to the byline and make his own chances: not suiting his first touch ratio.

I'm not saying he was as fantastic as well all first thought him to be, however he wasn't as poor as many later thought.

If Kane can further adapt and develop his play then he may not suffer as others have done. If he doesn't though, then it's a common trend.

Still not having him at all, or Berahino, or Austin. I do like Ings though.

I kind of feel like Berahino's future is at a bigger club where he's platooned out wide and never heard of again. Austin might do alright in our system if he ever gets a chance to start over Naisy. I haven't watched enough of Ings to comment on him.

For SB, see SWP, Ash Young, Scott Sinclair etc. think he will end up at Liverpool as Sterlings replacement.

Think Austin is a bit more of an all rounder, imagine if QPR go down he will end up at Stoke as first choice, or Spurs as back up to Kane when Soldado and Adebayor leave.

No idea where Ings will end up.
