Zatara

Player Valuation: £100m
When Niasse signed, Martinez said he needed time to slowly adjust to the league and be ready for the following season. He was of course dropped then sent to Hull where he scored and assisted a few, most notably against the RS.

Martinez took a huge amount of stick and a large amount of posters were really negative about Niasse.

In your opinion, where would we have been this season without Niasse's cameos and where would we have been if he had started every game up to when we signed Tosun?

In the same way people got it 'wrong' about Straquilasi.

Obviously he doesn't look like a clever, skilful player, but he is so effective, fit, powerful and relentless. We need him and say 3-4 'leaders' - if he was a regular selection, he would be a leader - type player, cos of his amazing spirit, and its the type of Howard, Cahill, Big Dunc etc - need more players like that = but he obviously isn't first choice, or the right quality to get us into europe..but still, if he's happy to play 15 games and maybe 15 subs appearances, I think he's got a very important place in the squad.

I think our 'average' players make up for their skill with spirit and attitude, and they are as valuable as big money or big star players

Not on the pitch long but he understands what the fans want to see and give his all, well done Oumar!
