He was written off prematurely like a lot of players who come to England from foreign leagues. His effort makes up for his lack of finesse

As a plan b and second choice he's really not that bad
Offers pace, persistence pressing and has a happy knack of popping up with a goal every so often.
When you look at back up strikers across the league he really isnt that bad.
Liverpool have ings and solanke.
Tottenham don't really have an alternative to kane, given that son et Al are more forward than striker.
The only clubs with better alternatives are city, United, arsenal and Chelsea so that says a lot for me

He’s not as bad as he first seemed.

A lesson that you should not judge too quickly.

Will some of the more mentally challenged of our fans realise that?

Not a chance in hell.

I have yes.

Alex Fergusan foresaw the importance of having particular attributes for a striker who is a sub. A lot of them are mental, being a egg, being happy to play second fiddle etc. He did it with Owen and Solskiaar who were both perfect for the role.

I put Niasse into that category. He changes the follow of games when he comes on. Works incredibly hard. Is unpredictable and finishes well as well as running channels effectively. He's the perfect change option, and for where we currently are as good as we can get to be a bench option.

The question was have I changed my mind, and I went with Yes.

That being said, it's a yes I've changed my mind that he's the worst footballer I've ever seen play for Everton, to he can do a job, that job being keeping the bleach away from my eyes when I see him.

That being said, he's not good enough for where we want to be. Can say that of a lot of our squad these days, though. A lot to be said for his professionalism, though, which can't necessarily be said of the others.

A much better player than people give him credit for.

He certainly doesn't deserve to be compared to players like straq.

Quick, strong, striker who can finish when given the chance.

No chance of that. We judge players and managers before they even come here.

Need far better if we’re looking to push for Europe, but he’s gone from being totally surplus to being fairly handy.

There’s about 10 I’d get rid of before him which speaks volumes about how tragic we are.

He seems to work best as a sub, its like when he comes on as a sub he knows he only has 30 minutes left and flys round the pitch at 100 mph. When he starts matches he seems more conserved with his energy.

It could be the tactics as well though, we start matches all out defend, then go behind and throw Niasse on and go more attacking.

about 4-5 times

i think hes an asset off the bench to be honest, defenders seem to hate him running at them when theyre tired

if hes happy to settle for the bench and maybe cup games id keep him
