Heitinga hints at Everton exit

he's shown some good flashes in his time with us (like that season where he was player of the year), BUT he does have bad spells. Like last season, when he was responsible for something like 7 opposition goals in a row. We dropped him, then Distin got ill in the warmup at United and he played that match, making it 8 in a row when he completely lost his man (i think if i recall correctly!). Rightly barely seen him since.

got absolutely roasted by benteke last season at GP. remember screaming for moyes to take him off while it was 2-1, but the useless tosser waited until enough time had elapsed to make his mandatory sub. By then benteke had scored another shaking off heitinga to make it 3-1 and 3 precious points were gone.

obviously, when moyes finally made the fecking change we scored two late goals to bring it back to 3-3, but there we go.

Obviously it's not going to happen but there is a case to be made for Heitinga having been screwed over by Moyes and having an 18 year old automatically starting ahead of him may strengthen that case.

In addition if he's being paid 65k a week and refusing to leave I'd rather have him playing than on the bench.

Behave.
Apart from talking complete kopsh^te, Stones is 19.

Jesus.

Who cares how old Stones is. £65k? So? If Everton started paying Ian McKellen that would you want him playing as well?

You play your best players, it's that simple.

Not sure how i feel about Heitinga to Newcastle.

Personally i think he is a quality defender that has simply just suffered from being dropped out the team time and time again. I know people make out he was terrible the last couple of seasons but i disagree, the situation he was in basically told him no matter how well he played or how hard he worked he would be dropped by Moyes for Distin/Jagielka. After a contract of that, i would be a little bit pissed off and therefore i wouldn't put half as much effort in if you know it won't get you anywhere.

Newcastle are getting a decent player and fair play to him , he has not complained publically and has saw out his contract with us.

Kin nuisance that feller. 'The right step' for his career. FFS, he's lucky to be earning a crust playing this game these days. Probably holding out for the free transfer and big signing on fee in the summer.
