It's fairly obvious that his heart isn't in it anymore and his mind is elsewhere. Don't like seeing Jags moved out of the centre to accomodate him.

lets hope he moves on if this is the case , shame because him and distin formed a really good partnership last season . but looks a shadow of the player now .

obviously this. he isnt enjoying it anymore.

I suppose you can't really blame him. He was Dutch Footballer of the Year shortly before he came to us. He was a World Cup finalist and couldn't get in our side. He then won Player of the Year and again found himself out of the side. He's actually been professional in not kicking up more of a fuss.

dont get me wrong i love the guy, but it looks like he wants to go so if you ask me he can go. his form has dropped like cows tail and you definitely cant blame moyes for that

He can't get in our side because he's playing terribly.

I get that he's upset that we don't treat him as the main man but he needs to get over it, he's been useless this year despite chance after chance.

I must be blind, he looked like he had plenty of desire and commitment today. If he wasn't on the pitch it would be Howard bashing time, but luckily good old Jonny is there for a verbal hammering today. The fickleness of fans is beyond, he was player of the season last year and now all of a sudden he's gash.

It's a squad game but for some reason EFC's fan base seems to want a permanent 11 to Olay every game, and a player or two to bash every week. Personally I thought Pinnar was his usual woeful self today at times. He pretty much refuses to Olay the ball inside and the amount if times players are wide open and he totally ignores them infuriates me. At other times he has some sublime interlink play

The reality is we lost today because we hit the post twice, and we don't have strength in depth down the right side. Hopefully that will change in the January window.

Last year he played well enough to win Player of the Year, so it must have been a huge disappointment to him to find himself back to being third choice this year. He's got 18 months left on his contract and he's getting closer to 30. If he feels that Moyes doesn't have faith in him and doesn't appreciate his ability that's going to tell in his performances. He is only human.

I think the problem is that Moyes wants complimentary centrebacks (left/right, tall/quick) and that Heitinga is just too similar to Jagielka. You do have to wonder why he bought him in the first place.

We would be ideally suited to having Heitinga, Jagielka and Distin as our defenders and giving Coleman and Baines free reign to get forward as wing backs like City, Liverpool and Wigan often do but I can't see Davey going for something so radical.

I thought Johnny was great today. I don't see what he has to be upset about, he has gotten plenty of chances this season and will have plenty more. The only thing that has kept him out of the team has been his poor form and hopefully today was the end of that.
