Heitinga

Jags tried to cover for the first goal because Lampard was totally unmarked in the box. Heitinga shouldn't have let that happen. I'd have to see the second goal again but it came from the same sort of area. I wonder if we could have prevented both goals if Jagielka was playing in his normal position.

Exactly how I saw the goals mate.

He's just not interested.

Admit it you just dont like him. Thats fine but The scapegoating at times is ridiculous. The whole team played well and we were unlucky today as we got beat by a very good side.

I liked him last season when he had pace, & committment - seen very little of this this season - He should not even be on the bench imo!

He has never had pace. I dont see how anyone can judge his commitment. Its not like he is going out thinking "**** it, ill play ****e today for a laugh" he is obviously struggling for a bit of form and consistancy so our fans jib him off at the first sign of struggle. I dont think today was one of those days though. He played fine.

As for not having him on the bench well im glad you aint the manager! He can cover numerous positions and we aint exactly flush with options!

What?!?!

Are you serious?!

Have a look at the second goal again and see where he is.

Yes im serious... I saw it the first time. If you are blaming him then you are blaming every other player on the pitch. I think you are being very harsh myself but fair enough if thats your opinion, I disagree.

Nobody is scapegoating mate.

The goals were just things that happen. They just happened to him today. He's just not very good anymore. And that's due to his crap attitude. Did you really not see him sh*t out of tackles? And run into our half with the ball and play the worst ball of the day to Ramires I think it was? Did you really not see him basically let Hazard (i think) run ino the box unchallenged? There's a difference between backing off and not trying.

Frankly I'm offended that you think I've used him as a scapegoat.

Argue all you want, his agent says he wants away, good riddance for me he should never were the blue shirt ever again a total waste of space. He has been crass all season even v West ham he was woeful dropped after that game so why play him today Duffy was a better option imo!

That's fine. I don't feel I'm being harsh in slating a player whose heart isn't in it.

I'm not saying we'd have won without him. Just that if it had been Johnny from last year a bit more effort would have been seen.

I wonder whether Distin was so good today because he had to defend for two.

I haven't really liked him since his comments about City and his comments about refusing to play RB. Nobody refuses to wear this shirt, its an honour and a privilege to wear the Blue of Everton but he doesn't give a ****. In a bit.

His ball wasnt worse than Barkleys at the end to be fair...

Im sick of this ****ting out of tackles stuff. You dont get where he is in the game by ****ting out of tackles. He just doesnt dive in there is a difference.

You are questioning someones attitude on the pitch which I think is harsh. He says he wants to play all the time. You are right that he hasnt been good this season (I dont agree about today but whatever) but I dont think its down to a lack of commitment or anything.

I think you are using him as a scapegoat solely because im not seeing these terrible mistakes that you seem to have seen. As mentioned by someone earlier I dont think he had a good or bad game. He was OK.

He didnt say he refused to play RB. He said hes better in the centre.

Duffy played well last year alongside whom?

He wasn't as bad as he has been in recent weeks. I'll give you that.

However, I don't scapegoat people. Never have never will.
