I believe @verreauxi is in Virginia as well.
I'm from Arlington originally and went to UVA. Charlottesville is about as close to Harrisonburg as I've ever been unfortunately. Virginia is absolutely beautiful out that way.Welcome to the forum!! As RAFUH says, indeed, I live in the western part of Virginia, Harrisonburg. Where you from?
Gits!
I believe I was asked. I guess I'll expound on my answer a bit. It's a combination that should never have happened and has spawned a chain of equally citrusy, bitter food catastrophes that cannot be contained. Call it Pandora's Pineapple Pizza, if you will.Welcome, mate. Why has no one asked about pineapple on pizza?
Standards are slipping here.
Yea or nay, o pilot of our recent acquaintance?
Very nice. Lived in Arlington and McLean growing up, and have been all over the U.S. since. Still have my home in Atown and go back as often as I can.Welcome to the forum.
I was born in Arlington...lived in Falls Church until my family moved out west to Washington State.
Great analogy that. Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your time here.I believe I was asked. I guess I'll expound on my answer a bit. I will definitely check them out next time I get back. It's hard to find places to watch the games where I am currently and it is depressing. Arlington and the whole of NoVA have gotten ridiculously crowded and overpriced. The opening of the Silver Line has further congested the area. It's rough. Thanks for sharing. There is a DC Toffee group that watches Everton games at some Irish bar in DC--I forget the name (google "DC toffees"). Arlington is quite nice, though it's gotten very expensive to live in in the past 8 or so years.
And yes, I love it out here, very peaceful and some nice mountains and craft breweries to boot.
