I'm all for it. What I like most about it is the project being headed by MTA and not WMATA. If the Metro so much as touches this project it will be a disaster.

As far as the country club goes, is it going to kill them to adjust the line by the 10 feet or whatever?

Would be great for my neck of the woods and would encourage a lot more folks to use public transportation. And let's face it Columbia CC is not some jewel like Congressional. I've played there it's a nice course but nothing special.

That would be awesome but it would probably cost more than ACELA.

Would make sense in the NE - Boston on down to connect all the major cities. Not as sure about out west where the distances are much much bigger.


Oh, and welcome. Navy sent me to Alexandria for a couple months.Had a great time in Virginia, even if in that part of the state (near DC), coming from Guam, it seemed like everyone had a stick up their backside.

Very nice, though cannot say I'm happy about VT, haha. I'm a UVA grad, now I'm working on a master's through them but doing a semester in Ohio because that's what my employer said to do. Bizarre, but I get to experience a new state for a little while. I was in VA Beach not too long ago. Was originally going to Williamsburg but decided on VA Beach after I found out it costs $90 to walk down a street.

my best friend went to UVA so I'm used to that whole issue haha yeah that's pretty cool your employer is paying for you to work on your Master's in Ohio (assuming they're paying for it since they told you were to go). What sort of program are you in if you don't mind me asking?
