Congratulations to Henry and his bride
Im assuming he still is our player?
Now im not an expert on wedding ceremonies but there do seem to be a lot of knives being flourished and why is Mrs O holding a dog bowl with Henrys name on it?

Unbelievable if true. What more does he have to do??
So being in the squad for the afcon was not enough...he has to play games also for Nigeria. I dont see him ever getting a work permit which is incredible...hopefully we can at least get put money back this summer

No coincidence that this is the second year running the lad and the club have been done over, last year it was Anderlecht refusing to play him after he returned to training, costing him a place in Nigeria’s World Cup squad and then Nigeria themselves refused to play him for most of their run at the AFCON this year

Perfect storm this.

Can't get a work permit which will automatically devalue him when trying to sell.

Galatasaray will love this, I imagine when his contract with us expires they will then attempt to loan the player off himself, his wife, or his parents.

utterly ridiculous if true, you see a load of crap getting them granted yet a youngster playing for CL teams, team of the year and in a major tournament for his country can't get one.

How do you work that one out exactly? For all we knew getting a permit would have been easy because he could have qualified under the "Exceptional Talent" disclaimer. Let's face it, if one of the Top Six had signed him this would have been sorted by now. Should we be forced to not sign promising youngsters from outside the UK just because of our standing in the game? How is that fair?

We've been Jorge Cadete'd here, no doubt in my mind
Not sure that's accurate, I believe that man city had a similar issue with a player.

A daft signing and it looks worse every year. Clearly either Walsh didn't do his homework to be sure the player would get a work permit, or just didn't understand the system.

Missed a trick there haven't we - if we'd have just got him married of to Shirley, aged 43 with a good sense of humour and 3 kids from Wigan - surely that would have swung the work permit!
