Confirmed Signing Henry Onyekuru

A bit, but should be no problem Weiler is a strict but fair coach (quite good also, Mourinho complimented him after the Man U game; because he thought RSCA had a very good game plan). Onyekuru should cut down his amount of interviews though and listen to the man. He also doesn't care how good you are or how much money you've cost. Last year RSCA had completed the most expensive transfer ever in the Belgian Pro League (Stanciu). He benched him for almost the entire season. He'll get his chances, but he really has to track back and similar stuff. He's going to use him as a winger, if he doesn't he'll just substitute him during the match.

Basically a great test to see if hes the right type of player for us

This is hypocrisy isn't it. He has already done/said worse things than Lukaku and probably will do again. When this guy says it, you rephrase it as ambition. In January he already said that his next transfer would be a stepping stone for his long career because now he only wants to be sure that he can play the rest will come later [Quite similar to Lukaku isn't it?]; if in the coming years he repeats his behaviour people will be angry but now it's fine. Even now he's proving to be a handful because of the picture, angering his current club so they are delaying their signature. Oh and he's taking transfer advice from Odemwingie, the one who drove to QPR on deadline day.

erm.....I didn't say the way he had gone about things was positive. Nor did I comment on Lukaku.

I simply stated that the boy must be ambitious....he's not, not ambitious is he?

If this lad does well in Belgium, and we can get a UK work permit sorted out for him, then it's easy to see the logic in signing a couple of strikers ( Rooney + AN Other ) who, realistically, we're only going to get a couple of good seasons from, at which point he might be first pick for us.

Remembre alos that we signed Sandro whose young as well - and have Lookman as well - so yeah looks like sign a couple of 2-3 years max players with experience at the very top of winning stuff, hope some of it rubs onto the younger lads who by the time Rooney and possibly Giroud etc move on will be 23-24 and entering their prime. Not exactly the worst idea in the world is it?

Hmm had to read back the post you are talking about was ages ago.
It was more about your wording "He must be very ambitious if he went on strike in jan to get a celtic move." You claim his going on strike shows his ambition. Yes it does show ambition, but it also demonstrates other qualities. I wasn't singling you out btw. I just think hypocrisy is rife a lot of the time. It's fine when it happens somewhere else, but not when it happens in your own house. I just wanted to point out the duality of this position. E.g: see people being angry that Swansea wants top dollar for Sigurdson (Off course they want that; even with the money it will be very difficult to replace him and avoid relegation. You'd do the same).
