Every club has stupid fans but their cult behaviour really is something else. Abusing Shearer's family because of his opinion, racially abusing Holgate, they even had fans threatening Lovren's family due to a poor performance.

They threatened to kill Gillett and Hicks and Houllier and Evra and now Shearer.

What I don't get is when you look at both of them, where does race come into it? It would be very odd for him to make a racist comment based on appearance of them both.

Only way he could be racist is against nationality which would be strange in itself considering the country he plays in. If someone could enlighten me to how the racism can play a part then it would be quite helpful here!

I was staggered to hear , I think it was the Sunday supplement on Sky , talking about how well they were supporting Brewster through his tough situation . The irony of it being them and their handling whole Suárez debacle and that not being worthy of a mention wasn’t lost on me at least .

That it’s from England whose former captain was charged , although acquitted, in court over racist abuse and then banned although he retained his club captaincy and Liverpool specifically who publicly backed Suárez . That are lecturing foreign clubs on their conduct and on this show and only one journalist vaguely skirted around it , although certainly didn’t nailed down specifics .

The angle of the video that is out there doesn't really show that though , because of Kenny's head. However there are certainly other angles from all the cameras that covered the game and the truth will shine in the next couple of days...

I’ve just watched the video again, the one where Kenny obstructs the view at a critical moment. The question for me really is how on earth does the ref not hear what is said? I honestly can’t accept that he’s got a lot going on around him- he’s right there in the middle of it. He should have to answer as many questions as Firmino about this as I can’t believe he wouldn’t hear the ‘N’ word if that’s what was said.

Because people from different areas and societies view others as lesser than them. For example, you will get racism between black communities due to their heritage. It’s not just about colour of skin, it’s about culture and language and ethnic origin.
