There, see, wasn't that hard was it?
Well done on your win. Good price too.
...how sad.

Why? There it is, £4 win @ 27/1 in glorious technicolor. Indisputable. I'm wrong, you're right.
..you’re wrong again, it was only £2 each way. Oh dear.
You certainly have given some great tips over the season, congratulations! I see Allardyce runs in the 3.40 tomorrow at the Festival - won in a big field at limerick last time out. Currently 11s. Colours are Blue & White.
What on earth did the poor horse do to deserve a name like that? Probably be slow early doors, look disinterested for the most part, lose and it’ll be everyone else’s fault. Answered my own question I suppose.
Whilst not defending Orly, who is a professional wind up merchant, I think the issue is that a lot of the time Eggs you tell people you've backed a winner, but you haven't mentioned it previously. In racing forum circles that's called after-timing and is frowned upon.
...Cheltenham handicap entries out, weights are issued next week. Mohaayed @ 33-1 (NRNB) with SkyBet for the County Hurdle is the e/w stand out for me. If he makes it to the start line it will be half the price and if he doesn’t I get my money back.
..you lot know I like the big priced ones. Paul Kealy tipped Calett Mad for the Albert Bartlett at a preview evening last night and it’s also had a few mentions elsewhere in the last month or so. I got 40-1 for it this morning via a price boost with Ladbrokes NRNB.
Another to look out for is Oxford Blu in the Fred Winter. The trainer is a rising star and knows how to get one ready. I got 40-1 but it’s been steadily backed in recent days.
...Getabird looks good but he’s come unstuck on the occasion he ran left handed and much too short a price for me. I’ve backed First Flow when it was 25-1 but I’ll add Slate House. I notice it’s a course and distance winner, so certainly worth a little each way interest. Cheers.
I put one up on here a few pages back called Oxford Blu @ 40-1 in the Fred Winter. It’s not that price now, his trainer is currently on ATR and he clearly likes the horses chance.
...got the forecast up (Exacta) in the Imperial Cup. The winner was 20-1, the 2nd 8-1, mind you there was a lengthy Stewards Enquiry. Won £232 for a £1 bet. That’s the way to do it and a good start to Cheltenham week.

..i don’t back on the exchanges, Golan. I got the 27-1 via Ladbrokes price boost. Both Hills and Ladbrokes on line have a little button on the slip, I backed that one the day before at 25s and the boost took it to 27s. The Ladbrokes boost is particularly good. Recommended. Quite sad somebody on here questions my little bets, but i’m old, comfortable and very content in my own skin.
This is where I got it from (3rd post down). I like these forums, lots of folk worth considering.

I don't think anyone would want you to leave the thread. People give opinions and it's up to others whether they back other people's fancies or not...they aren’t tips so I would hate folk losing money on them. Saying that, my first post regarding Cheltenham was in February and I said I fancied Mohaayed for the County Hurdle @ 33-1. It obliged and I had it in a £2 ew double with Rathvinden (4 miler) which paid over £1,500. Warriors Tale was my main National fancy but got pulled up.
I don’t pretend to be an expert. I’ve just had a really good Spring. I like the big priced ones to small stakes.
Probably best if I leave this thread alone, I’d hate to upset anybody.

I haven't questioned your integrity. I don't doubt that you backed those horses I'm just saying that on racing forums it is frowned upon to talk about backing winners if you didn't post the horses in advance of the race...i’ve been posting with what I hope is good will and in good spirit for many years. Voicing opinion is what the forum is about but you and another have questioned my integrity. I find that very disappointing.
