Horse Racing

Koff Aiden O'Brien.
Got a feeling his will get beat in the Derby tomorrow. I’m not sure it’s run in the Guineas was as good as people say.

Ryan Moore was also in America that night which tells me he doesn’t think it’s a world beater.

Now watch it go and win further than the Shergar 10 lengths lol

Roaring lion 11/1 win, and De Ex Bee 28/1 each way for me today.

I don’t know why I’ve gone off the favourite but just a feeling it won the Guineas like a top class miler. But it’s a Galileo? Then there’s the going and the draw, drawn 1 which is far from ideal. Part of me wants it to win like a great horse ‘cos there’s no better sight.

Roaring lion was brilliant in the Dante.
De Ex Bee finished only half a length behind today’s 2nd favourite at Chester despite getting a bump yet is 3 times the price.

What a great race in the Coronation Cup yesterday.. will go down as one of the season highlights, surely. A massive run from the outsider Salouen to almost cause a huge upset.

I watched this and I do wonder if that has destroyed Cracksman for the season. Had a very hard race I thought.

Must admit surprised by R. Moore riding usually a.lot better had race lost when found any space to make his move

No surprise to me.

He regularly gets horses boxed in, even in smallish fields.

I don’t understand why he gets the Coolmore gig.

Even at this late stage of his career, Frankie is a better jockey and rarely, if ever, is beaten because of bad positioning during a race.

They should have kept Donnacha on board ;)

...the verge of Royal Ascot but it doesn’t hold the same interest as Cheltenham and Aintree for me. Saying that, it looks like i’ve got a very interesting ante-post slip for the Commonwealth Cup on Friday having backed Equalatiral last month @ 50-1 with Paddy Power, it’s now 9/2 favourite.

My only other bet is Sergei Prokoviev for the Coventry at 8-1.

I’ll have a little interest each day.

Same for me, not fussed about Ascot, not even booked the week off work. Will have a few bets I guess and hope Cracksman wins as got a few doubles and trebles going on to him which mainly included Justify and then an odds against shot normally. Be a tidy week if he wins and will probably lump on Stradivarius in the Gold Cup.
