He was originally earmarked for the Commonwealth Stakes yesterday but connections opted for this instead.

And he was pulled out of a handicap the other day because they thought he woukd bolt up which meant he woukd have incurred a penalty today.
 

...Northumberland Plate tomorrow. I have fond memories of the race going back to Tamarpour winning it when I was in Dublin for the Irish Derby (1991). We went to Howth on the Saturday and wiped the local bookie out.

Been having a bet on the Ascot rces today. Done okay, but was on Bajan Gold in the last, and it has just got beat by a short head by

I backed Alexanderthegreat at 7/4 in the 17.00 at Chelmsford.

It got smashed in the ring, went off 1/4.

Scooted about 10 lengths clear and got beat 2 lengths.

Fuming dosent even come close here, Ryan bloody Moore... AGAIN.

..sure way to the poor house backing those short priced favourites. I know i’m a mug punter myself but I rarely back anything less than 10-1. I’m useless.

I'm skint mate.

I should stick to backing my own greyhounds and punting on the cricket !

But 7/4 into 1/4 on is some punt gone astray.

The Irish greyhound Derby draw is tonight actually mate.
I'm having a dabble on two E/W at huge prices.
Minor Mike and Jaytee Taylor.
Both 50/1 and like our bet in the English Derby, if they get to the final you get paid.

Greyhound Derby needs a new home, let alone the horse racing.

Sounds like it was ran like Everton in the late 90's.
