I had 5 winners in the 7 races when I went on Thursday... today has started off far less successfully lol
Got a weirdly good feeling about Minella Rocco in the National.. but I've also got Rathvinden, Pleasant Company, Joe Farrell & Dounikos. Just hope Tiger Roll doesn't win, would be such an anti-climax.
Anyway, I've got Lalor in the 3.00pm - fingers crossed I actually get a winner at some point lol

Totally agreed. Thoroughbreds who are bread to race and absolutely love it and anyone who says otherwise probably hasn't ever been close or worked with them.
I've already had the regular proclamation that 'horse racing is vile and we're all murderers' to which I explain that the fatality rate is 0.2% of all horses who race.
That's one in five hundred, which is still unfortunate, but much less than would happen if horse racing was banned as who'd then keep all these horses.
Fairly certain I read that 95% of race horses in the world are descended from one Arabian stalian. Amazing fact.
Great finish to that race and even better when your horse wins it If the cap fits
