Sir erec at chelt?
Didnt they say he shouldnt of ran.. anyway it did fell and got put down

....i’m sorry, that is just incorrect. The poor horse broke down in running, and racing fans were devastated. I partake in a Racing Forum and absolutely everybody loves the sport and are totally concerned with horses welfare. Whether you backed him or not, the Sir Erec incident touched everybody and to site it as cruelty in the sport is simply ignorant.

My apologies

Fancy a bit of beware the bear for the Scottish national. Unless someone wants to tell me otherwise?

....I backed Crosspark @ 16-1 a couple of days ago. I like an early dart at these big races but will have another bet on the day, after the final declarations.

Henderson trained horses (Beware the Bear) are a negative on the trends and it’s also lumping plenty of weight, but trends are there to be broken;

....the horse I backed for Aintree’s Red Rum Handicap @ 50-1 that got backed into 8-1 but was withdrawn when the rain fell, is entered for the first at Ayr on Saturday. The bookies clearly know and have Azzuri at 5-1 Fav which is a bit short for me but it’ll be one to watch if it runs.

This is why those headlines of "Bookie Bloodbath as Tiger Roll wins" are total bollux. It's amazing anyone still actually believes that sort of crap. It's also amazing that anyone thinks the SP system is still fit for purpose or would take an SP price.
It works wonderfully well for the bookie though, as just at the moment when the horses are in the parade ring and punters get to look at them, the prices all suddenly get slashed and the bookies' margin usually doubles.

....I didn’t check the Tote prices for the National, not sure what it paid for Tiger Roll. I like the Tote for the big handicaps, the Aintree Placepot last Saturday got me £471 for a £3 stake.

Should have done it matelol. Very impressive.

It was down to 4-1 when I backed it. Not sure what it came in at in the end.

....I backed it 11/2, Fred. It was my way of saying get on. It won 5/2. Great price, clearly a handicap blot. I’m chuffed you backed it, just hoping the likes of @Toast followed us in as it’s the type of price he likes.

I’m always wary of putting horses up because I don’t want folk losing their hard earned.

Nap of the day.

I tipped it to my workmates earlier in the week mate.
Loads followed you at Cheltenham on it only not to get a run. By loads, I mean over 20 odd fellas.
