Just can't get a winner at Royal Ascot. TBH I always struggled to get winners at this meeting down the years. When I go for an outsider the fav wins . And when I back a fav, it's beat by a flying outsider. That's the nature of the beast for me.
Anyhow it's back to the drawing board. I'm going for Battleground today. So that's everyone's cue to avoid that horse. Be lucky folks........be lucky.

I was like this at Glorious Goodward. My Grandad and I used to go every year for one of the days of the meeting. This was many years ago in the days of Lochsong. I went 5 years and over 30 races without backing a winner.

Now that was some horse, fantastic sprinter.

I'm the opposite. I tend to do ok at Cheltenham. I suppose it's maybe because I prefer the jumps racing. But as you know it's all really down to luck.
I got beat for a few quid the other day by a nose. So close but so far.
May as well have finished last. That's racing........that's gambling.

thirty races over the years at glorious Goodwood. And no winners.
And I thought my luck was bad. TBH I also find it hard to get a winner at Goodwood. I'm really a jumps fan. And punter.

If it wins the price will look fantastic. Is he head and shoulders above these on this going?
Would love to see him win, I think Cross Counter might run well despite Buick choosing the other one. Was 4th last year Cross Counter.
