….hype horse of Henderson’s, I got on at fancy prices with a free bet for the Supreme but he ran poorly on debut, won next time & is now upped in trip. Looks like he might be aimed at Ballymore (20-1 to win tomorrow & Ballymore). It’s a horse with a really strange running style, a gait like Bambi.
Paddy Power have a Free 50p Yankee at Cheltenham tomorrow (or 25p each way).

….wow, such an age & such a gorgeous animal. Nope, I’m more a Cheltenham over the jumps than Chester on the flat but what a terrific story that is when the sport gets so many bad headlines.
…..SkyBet have finally caught up with me & restricted my a/c, which is a shame as I cleaned up on their RaB and ‘win today’ markets at Cheltenham. Still, I have a number of their offers in my portfolio that are now looking quite tasty, I just hope one or two are winners in a few months time.
i noticed yesterday they made a mistake in their RaB list with Champion Green listed twice for the Boodles at 12-1 and 20-1. I stuck a free bet on 20-1 and alerted folk on a racing forum, it was quickly taken down & I think this is my punishment.

I think it's scandalous that they do this. Bet365 did it to my other half last year too. And yet they don't have the same rules when you're losing.

Never seen so many short priced favourites for races this far out. Next challenge is to start sorting out the handicaps, the markets are just forming.
Boylsports have restricted me to three pound something bets along with Betway, Ladbrokes, Betfair Sportsbook and Unibet. I only bet win singles and never do the games etc, funny thing about b365 is that I am up there more than anywhere and even won £8000 on The Irish Lotto about five years ago for four numbers but none of my numbers have come out for quite a while. I am going to cry home 1-6-7 and 1-2-6-7 and even 1-2-5-6-7 for a life changing amount..

The best one for me was Boylesports years ago. I deposited £20, put it on a 4/1 shot which won. They then gave me a free £20 bet which I put on a 5/1 shot which won. I then got an email from them saying they'd closed my account lol
….i know this sounds very unlikely, but there is a horse entered in the Gold Cup above that might just be a plot in one of the handicap hurdles.
Any horse running in the Pertemps Final at the Festival can only run if it finishes in the first 5 in one of a series of qualifying races. Those races are funny because trainers don’t want to win them because their horses get a significant rise in the weights. The trick is to look at something given a sympathetic ride that finishes comfortably placed in the first 5,
Most of those races have now taken place, including all of the Irish qualifiers. Gordon Elliott farms the race and in the last of the qualifiers over there, a horse of his called Dunboyne was the one to take out of it, the 25-1 was quickly snaffled up in the days after the race.
Anyway, getting back to the qualified Gold Cup entrant, David Pipe ran Remastered in an early qualifier and it came 2nd. The thinking was, Remastered was simply getting warmed up for a campaign over fences, hence it’s subsequent runs & the Gold Cup entry. There is a theory, though, that completely the opposite is happening.
Remastered has now qualified for the Pertemps Final and maybe all these runs over the bigger obstacles are just a plot to keep his hurdle handicap mark down. Pipe is that type of trainer. A couple of firms are suspicious of this too & only go 16-1 but Bet365 offer a whopping 40-1.
It has to be worth a very small interest at that price & Bet365 offer cash out if my theory is clearly wrong & the trainer says it’s being aimed elsewhere.

I Backed Tom Clovers AYE CATCHER last night in the 1-30, 9/2 2f. Looked to come good with a bit up her sleeve when flying down the outside at Lingfield at the end of November in a 5f nursery and hopefully the 3lbs rise won't stop her following up.
