Abracadabras in the stayers at Cheltenham you mentioned before I did at 20/1 At the time ran over Christmas and went to 33/1 so had a dabble again. Its gone back in to 20/1 just wondering why made up like

….it ran against Klassical Dream and Flooring Porter over Christmas & they looked different gravy to anything else in the race. Abacadabras has quality but the distance of the Stayers Hurdle was a bit of an unknown and he finished over 30l behind the other two. I’ve cashed my bet in for now.

Interesting to see its price coming in but I now find it difficult to see how it can finish ahead of Klassical Dream and Flooring Porter who look very special. I wouldn’t even be certain Abacadabras turns up. I think I mentioned Flooring Porter as a bet at 12-1, I think he looks good for at least a place.

….just looking back, posted this last April. It’s now a best price 7/4 for Cheltenham.

It was the most impressive of all the winners over Christmas. I never count my chickens as things can go wrong with these magnificent animals but as soon as it won I even backed it for next years GC @ 20-1 (now 7-1).

It could be a superstar.

Some of the monthly yankees I’ve been posting from the brilliant racing forum i’m on are looking ok. The odd one or two selections that are unlikely to make the Festival but some that will see a healthy profit with two winners.

Put my free bet on a horse called cobblers dream today eggs. Came in at 12/1 so £60 back off my free bet. I only picked it because I thought it's name rolled off the tongue nicely. Was a nice surprise when I logged back in later.

Also had my free sky bet on an OG in our game which bagged me £30 (I'd rather we'd have won of course). £90 profit from free bets, doesn't happen very often for me!
