….Cheltenham handicap weights out this morning. Gaelic Warrior in The Boodles already considered the handicap snip for Mullins, almost a stone well-in, it’s been well found in the market this last month.

The potential 40-1 Remastered plan I mentioned here some time ago is very much falling into place, the big concern is it gets enough weight to get in the Pertemps.

Gets in on 10 stone 3lbs

….needs some ahead to come out ahead of him in the weights but certainly has a chance of getting in, as has Dunboyne which I think I mentioned at 25-1.

All the weights;

Almighty gamble continues on Gaelic Warrior (Boodles), I have a little 14-1 but I couldn’t back him at current prices even if he does look a handicap snip.

Seeing best at 11/4 with WH

….apologies, I should’ve put it up a few weeks ago but I’m not keen on advising 14-1 shots in competitive juvenile handicaps.

Its a stone better off than it should be & is trained by Willie Mullins but it’s a big field of juveniles and anything can happen. I expect it’ll be the shortest price handicap favourite of the meeting, it’s French form is very smart. I’ve backed a few others in the race as well.

Others to note; Elliott reckons Death Duty is his best handicapped horse of the meeting in the Ultima; Langer Dan got dropped 3lb and the Martin Pipe has been it’s aim all season (got touched off in it last season by the brilliant Galopin des Champs), School Boy Hours seems to have got in the Kim Muir quite lightly.

….the final Yankee from my horse racing forum is actually a Super Yankee (5 selections), containing particular favourites that I have generally posted on here.

i don’t like mentioning stake because that’s a personal issue, & punters should only post what they can afford. I usually work on a £1 Yankee for these bets, & I recently cashed two out placed earlier this year for over £200 because there was doubt over a couple of targets. In profit already.

Anyway, there will be daily yankees and an overall Yankee that I’ll be happy to share with you for a bit of interest.

Super Yankee (prices with Fred);
Run Wild Fred (NHC) 3/1
Galvin (GC) 4/1
Gaelic Warrior (Boodles) 11/4
Langer Dan (Martin Pipe) 5-1
Tiger Roll (XC) 2-1

I know some of the individual ones I have flagged up have bit the dust but most of the big priced ones are now sitting at or near the head of the markets (inc Enjoy Dallen @ 40-1 for the National) and if any followed me in we should get a run for our monies.

As always, happy to keep sharing information I get but bet carefully and with cash-out where NRNB doesn’t apply.
