As suspected, my early Pertemps tip, Remastered misses out by one and I understand is 1st reserve to get in so still has a little squeak of running. Dunboyne just squeezes in at the bottom of the weights.

…yep, I remember you saying that but I never thought she was going to be the shortest price fav. Terrific race, what a gutsy mare, she didn’t have the run of the race.

Thankfully got her onside myself thanks to a nice double placed last month. It made up for Winged Leader getting chinned on the line by Billaway in the last.
 
….worth noting that Bet365 and BetFred are now both NRNB & paying 6 places on the Grand National.

if you fancy one, it’s worth considering a wager now with those firms as odds are likely to be shorter on the day and you get your money back if your selection doesn’t run.

….i was saying to a few mates, I don’t recall him putting up an early National bet before. it is NRNB, so at least you get your money back if it doesn’t line up. That market is already looking squeezed.

The ante-post prices for Cheltenham next year are dreadful, I think the firms have been hit hard in the last two years. I liked one in the Ballymore, took 20-1 for it a few days ago and it’s already in to 14-1 with 12 months to go.

….there are worst bets out there. Constitution Hill is already favourite for the Champion Hurdle, Flooring Porter will have a great chance in the Stayers, GDC looks a superstar that could turn up in the Champiin Chase, Ryanair or Gold Cup. I’ve already got James Gate in my portfolio for the Ballymore (his owner sponsors the race).

Its some achievement to get 4 runners to the Festival, but if they do I’d be confident theis lot won’t be in the same races.
