Horse Racing

Can get 6/1 on Ashroe Diamond in the 515 on Thursday through Pad and Fair.

…..it was fancied for the Mares Novice Hurdle at one stage so that must be the objective next March. An obvious chance if it turns up on Thursday but Peter Bowen’s only runner of the day goes in that race. Back anything Bowen runs at Aintree each-way.

Nice one.

Off to it on Thursday. First time we’ve been able to go for a while so I can’t wait.

Love the aintree Thursday.

….my favourite too. I had an op on a detached retina in October & have an appointment on Thursday I can’t cancel. Sick about that. Mine aren’t tips, just a little interest I’ve had but Kemboy is a favourite of mine & likes Aintree.

Have told my kids & their partners I’ll take them the pub on Friday.

Reckon you know about a million percent than I do about the nags. Was a tip from lads I know. Betted each way on your Wirral one.

Anyone else reckon the owner of Do Your Job was absolutely smashed off his tits just then on ITV.

If his mania didn’t give it away, the eyes definitely did.

Poor Michael Scudamore looked terribly embarrassed and was slowly disappearing up his own ass.

Poor show by ITV racing giving the high as a kite owner so much airtime!

….some folk are interested in monthly Ante-Post Yankees put up by the Racing Forum I’m on. This is the first of the year;

March Yankee

Jonbon (Ark) 8-1
Tellmesomethinggirl (Mares Hurdle) 10-1
The Nice Guy (Festival Nov Chase) 8-1
Flooring Porter (Stayers) 5-1

Prices vary with bookmakers but are approximate, advice is to use firms with cash-out facility (365; PP; BFSB). I realised a nice profit last year, mainly thanks to cashing two out.

…..my final juicy priced one for the National is Commodore, currently 50-1 NRNB.

Jumped brilliantly winning on his last run at Cheltenham in December. Venetia Williams knows the time of day in training her National runners & seems to have aimed this one at the race this year. Needs quite a few to come out but if he gets a run he’ll be carrying a featherweight (also entered in Topham next Friday).
Commodore now down to around 25-1 NRNB, obviously attracting a little bit of interest!
