….you tend to get ‘extra places’ with firms on-line. Personally, I’ve been going to Aintree for over 20 years and rarely use the inconvenience of course bookmakers. Much better to go the bar, go to the Tote and chat between races.
As somebody who doesn’t own a mobile, I’ll pretty much have my bets on in advance (already have a number in My book) and use the Tote on-course.
For the big handicaps, the Tote usually pays more and I love doing small stakes Reverse Exacta (I had the 1st & 2nd in the Boodles at Cheltenham a fortnight ago & it paid £170 for £1 stake). I did PM
