...my portfolio for Thursday is growing but a number of horses have multiple entries so I will have lost some. Gone for 3 at prices in the Foxhunters, just hoping the rain doesn’t turn the meeting into a slog.

Venitia Williams had 4 winners yesterday. Worth keeping an eye on her runners.
Paul Nicholas had a few too, trains your fancy for the National, it also has the right age/weight profile.

I used to wait till he got beat first time out and back him for King George so always got around 6-1 for it. Some mad prices for him over the years when he lost the time before. Brilliant grade 1 horse on flat tracks, loved the Bowl at Aintree.

..and Venetia’s horses love the soft. I really like Warriors Tale (Nicholls) for the National and another of his called Old Guard but the rain this morning is relentless and it could be an absolute lottery. Good shout with Venetia Williams.

I like Seeyouatmidnight for the national. usually a very sound jumper and stays forever and will like the softer ground. Will probably do Tiger Roll too as he won me a packet at Cheltenham.
