Horse Racing

why does the horse have to die? can't they just pay for it to have surgery and then let it live on a field somewhere?

There's no profit in that, unless it can still go to stud.

Cold, I know. And in my heart I wish it was different. But as we see on the news every day our world is morally fried.

No mate. This is a forum where everybody is allowed to post their opinions. This thread is called Horse Racing. I am commenting on horse racing. If you don't want to hear my opinions block me, or log off.

It is extremely difficult, nigh on impossible, to repair a seriously broken leg to a standard that would be able to carry the weight of the horse. They dont break like we see in football, like cleanly, or snapped. The literally shatter like glass.

According to Mrs R who knows this stuff.

Of course you did mate.
