Its correct if it was 1/4 the odds a place. £1 place part of bet refunded plus 33/4 £8.25 = £9.25

Ha, I backed Cause of Causes then thinking he had a nice hunt round at Cheltenham to ready him for today and only backed Tiger Roll once Cause of Causes pulled out so the price had gone.

..he was 50-1 before the Cross Country. To be honest, I should’ve had the Exacta today. I really fancied Warriors Tale, so was always going to include that in my perm. 2nd choice was Pleasant Company, then I tossed up between Tiger Roll and I Just Know. I should’ve done all four but at least I was on the right lines.

I just gave Mrs Eggs the winning Tiger Roll bet, much better than all of the flowers and chocolate stuff!!

...if you backed in the shop, it should be 1/4 odds so that is about right. 1/4 of 33 plus your £1 stake.
