Not just ambition is being shown, it is positive ambition and striving to improve. That attitude within itself deserves a drink or two.

When did the club ever say they couldn't afford Baines. I heard Moyes saying that it hard to compete with clubs who were paying over the odds for players, but he hasn't ever baulked on a price which he feels represents value for money.

Well one minute we are offering £4m plus a player, then £5m, then all of a sudden we just give it them and then made a £11m bid for Lucho.
