Betting. Is that why we let Bournemouth beat us. Gave them a couple of pens, one of which was disallowed?
What were the odd against us losing 3-1?

All the united fans taking selfies on Facebook in their united shirts that they've bought for themselves and their whole family, celebrating is sickening.

They in no way deserved top 4 and even then, what the hell are they celebrating? All that money, no trophy but they're ecstatic they've finished above Leicester, how the mighty have fallen.

Salah's goal against City was given by VAR within an instant. It has since transpired that VAR wasn't in action in the match due to a 'technical issue'.
VAR is the instrument that has been used to give positive bias to certain teams.
It's corrupt. No other word for it.
Is this true? Was VAR not in use in that game??

ESPN have a roundup and the RS are way behind the likes of Brighton and Burnley in favourable VAR overturns. Even breaking it down to strictly "subjective" VAR decisions they've had 2 for and 2 against.

A lot of us completely ignore the facts that don't fit into the LiVARpool narrative.
That’s overturns. Doesn’t mean incorrect decisions. Keane’s penalty against Brighton wasn’t overturned, but it was still a wrong decision that shafted us. Same in that if the ref gives a pen for a Mane dive, and VAR doesn’t overturn it, it’s still wrong.

Overturns is not a useful metric for measuring this.

One of the problems as I stated when VAR was being introduced,is that it was just a case of poor/weak officials making decisions away from the stadium, how can a multi million pound industry look at the likes of John Moss and think he is fit for the game, other things that would help is officials getting asked to justify the decisions they make and for managers to be able to question what they think was wrong without threat of censure,no way it was a coincidence that a certain ref wasnt given our games after Moyes hinted there was questions about his bias

The VAR decisions this season have not been 'unconcious bias' (in my opinion for what it is worth). It has been explicit bias.
The 30 year & 7 year gap is the exact reason for explicit bias. The favourable VAR decisions this season for Liverpool
have been nothing but outrageous. VAR has been the method used to assist them. The PL need Liverpool & United to
be successful for their business model.

So they will be successful...

Yesterdays penalty against Leicester was Man Ure’s 20th penalty of the season, their 14th in the PL alone - a new record! We have had 1, yup one! Throw VAR into the equation and unconsciously or not you can see the bias, corruptness (is that even a word?) that in involved to keep those two clubs at the forefront of Sky’s coverage!

Ok. But that’s not stats, it’s just an opinion. The PL has been incredibly successful without Liverpool being successful and it’s coped pretty well with the midtable version of United.

The reason United won the league loads was because they were the best for ages. Not because of unfair referees. Then their manager retired and they were no longer the best. Liverpool are now the best because they now have a manager who has built a good side over a few seasons. Next season another team might be the best (probably City) and they’ll win the league.

All of the above has happened because of football rather than some dark forces at play.

I’m just reluctant to give too much credence to conspiracy as it’s usually framed around cherrypicked examples and stats. I think the truth is a little more dull.
If you saying liverpool and United have been refereed the same as everyone else then football is definitely not for me, its going to be even worse next season, tele clappers have to milked even more .

We've had one or two rough penalty decisions and I've not watched enough Man U to judge their calls.

But you have to be in the opponents area to get a penalty. We don't do that, therefore we don't get many penalties.

Competent attacking sides will always get more penalties than sides that can't get the ball past their own midfield.

Crystal Palace were top of the penalty league last season with 12.
You can generally get odds of around 5/2 for a penalty to be awarded in a game for either side...

Exactly this:
The amazing thing was that the bookies were giving 5/2 for a penalty to be awarded in the game to either side.
Talk about printing your own money!
