How do we fix our club?

You're right, watched the Chelsea v United game after ours against Brentford and it was like watching a completely different sport.
ive been saying this and get multiple flak from ppl... is not just everton , the thing you saw applies to every other team in the EPL outside of those big six teams, the gap between quality makes the league an actual 2 side league. the cream of the crop, the elite and rich teams hire real stars and play delightful football, very very few journeymen are hired among those teams, the 2nd league is full of "pace" RUN" hoofball and the so praised "phisicality" footie, AKA the crap teams ... look the uefa europe league perfomanes of british teams OUTSIDE the big six teams... pathetic, spain has villareal/atheltic sevilla (if you want to put em there). italy has rome/napoli/atalanta (they used to NOT be a champions team until recently), germany has redbull/frankfurt.. etc etc.. EPL has.. lol kk thx bye.

the lesser teams are horrendous and crap. and it only will get worse.

Get a manager in who Isn't bothered about reputations...
Someone who wants to win every game and isn't scared to have a go at teams...
Someone who stands up for his players and doesn't back down and have his head patted by 'big six' managers...

Wednesday night will be the making or breaking of benitiz at Everton. If the team don't perform he should be gone. Games don't get bigger than Wednesday.
We look clueless at times and no bite we just don't close down players. When we get the ball it's lost seconds later

Was having a nosey at what the likes of Chelsea, City etc have done since coming into money and how they have built their backroom staff. Found this on Citys website and imo this level of detail plays a massive difference between successful sides and us simply throwing money at average players and hoping we progress.
Id guess the amount spent on JPG wouldve paid for every one of these guys.
We need to put building a high performing, fully accountable backroom before wasting more money on bang average players, and let these staff actually affect change on our players rather than them being able to simply go through the motions through their contracts.

Martinez was very public and open about plans for creating an Everton version "La Masia" with the renovations and new overnight facilities etc. Then scrapped by Koeman so he could golf instead. That was probably the last time there was public transparency about plans and goals.
