You prefer Marco Silva over Diego Simeone then?First sensible thing you said all evening
Is there a cheese on wishful thinking option? You prefer Marco Silva over Diego Simeone then?
Is there a cheese on wishful thinking option?
I'm guessing here but is your point - if you don't ask, you'll never get, which is fair enough, if a tad tinkerbell-esque*
*The Tinkerbell effect
is an expression describing things that are thought to exist only because people believe in them. The effect is named after Tinker Bell, the fairy in the play Peter Pan, who is revived from near death by the belief of the audience.
Or there is the Everton version called the Reverse Tinkerbell effect, a term coined by David Post in 2003.[1] It stipulates that the more you believe in something the more likely it is to vanish.
1) What doesn't1) It doesn't have to be that way though...
2) unless you can prove it otherwise?
3) I don't think you can prove it
4)so I don't understand the context of your post tbh
1) What doesn't
2) Prove what?
3) I don't have to, I'll just post opinion as fact
4) matey bob, the sum of what you don't understand would fill volumes...same with me and most of us on here tbh.
Thing is, I know I'm not as clever as I think I am, because...hold on to your hat...nobody is.
Anyway, this passed an hour while my sunday lunch settled and I CBAd any longer with your folderol
So, as is said...for that reason - I'm out.
That today was my final straw. It was predictable. You just knew we weren't gonna win it. We are no better than teams like Brighton under Silva. Problem is I literally have no idea who we can get even if the club could pay massive wages. We'll just end up with another hire and fire manager hoping he becomes a gem.
When HK saw the writing on the wall he was off, and anyway he was not a world class manager when he joined us he became a great manager on his journey with our club, I said we couldn't attract a class manager, Howard was player manager with player manager with Blackburn Rovers when he joined us and had an attachment with us we hardly had to sell ourselves to him.
So again how do you think we should sell ourselves to Simeone and where is your 'math' to show how we can afford him? I aint traipsing all over the site looking for it.
