You prefer Marco Silva over Diego Simeone then?
Is there a cheese on wishful thinking option?

I'm guessing here but is your point - if you don't ask, you'll never get, which is fair enough, if a tad tinkerbell-esque*

*The Tinkerbell effect
is an expression describing things that are thought to exist only because people believe in them. The effect is named after Tinker Bell, the fairy in the play Peter Pan, who is revived from near death by the belief of the audience.

Or there is the Everton version called the Reverse Tinkerbell effect, a term coined by David Post in 2003.[1] It stipulates that the more you believe in something the more likely it is to vanish.

It doesn't have to be that way though...unless you can prove it otherwise? I don't think you can prove it so I don't understand the context of your post tbh o_O

That today was my final straw. It was predictable. You just knew we weren't gonna win it. We are no better than teams like Brighton under Silva. Problem is I literally have no idea who we can get even if the club could pay massive wages. We'll just end up with another hire and fire manager hoping he becomes a gem.

1) What doesn't
2) Prove what?
3) I don't have to, I'll just post opinion as fact

4) matey bob, the sum of what you don't understand would fill volumes...same with me and most of us on here tbh.
Thing is, I know I'm not as clever as I think I am, because...hold on to your hat...nobody is.

Anyway, this passed an hour while my sunday lunch settled and I CBAd any longer with your folderol
So, as is said...for that reason - I'm out.

Truth Lord I know you follow it...glad to have you on board and WELCOME the journey will be sometimes hard because folk are in denial of Truth but it's our goal to enlighten them at every opportunity...it's our duty in fact ;)

Are there better options out there? Without doubt. I'd have no qualms with Benitez in situ at Goodison for starters.

The games we've lost to average (at best) opposition just can't be ignored any longer. And with 11 games still to come against the 'top 6' we'll be sleep walking into deeper trouble if we keep this bloke any longer. Time for (another) change.

This is pretty much the standard in football nowadays though, just keep hiring and firing until you finally fluke a goodun.

When HK saw the writing on the wall he was off, and anyway he was not a world class manager when he joined us he became a great manager on his journey with our club, I said we couldn't attract a class manager, Howard was player manager with player manager with Blackburn Rovers when he joined us and had an attachment with us we hardly had to sell ourselves to him.

So again how do you think we should sell ourselves to Simeone and where is your 'math' to show how we can afford him? I aint traipsing all over the site looking for it.

I'm going to make a statement that will make me as about as popular as a nasty case of VD, but as much as I love Kendall for all that he did for us, I don't think he could ever be considered world class and bar from 4 seasons with us great would be pushing it.

His record away from us is not good (even the later times with us) and if he was truly a great manager then he would have replicated the success. He deserves great credit but sometimes the stars align and assisted by Harvey, the history with the club, the players we had, we did something special, extra special.

Given the way this man of straw treated Watford, I cannot begrudge their fans the joy they’re going to get if he’s still here on Tuesday.

Moshiri has been an absolute disaster since he arrived. I can understand the initial choice of Silva, when he looked like he was doing well, but the way he conducted himself following our interest should have been a red flag. Totally unprofessional.
