How predictable is Moyes?

Crikey, damons banned now! Dropping like flies...

This one's for you, Damo.

I think that Moyes has set up a working system over the course of his Everton career, and that system generally gets the most out of the given squad. Sure, we know him as a manager who will send the boys out in a 4-6-0 and make three subs after the 80th minute, but this is not always the case.

If this is regarding his tactics against City, I would challenge anyone to go to the City of Manchester stadium and get a result. Fulham, the draw-masters (though being challenged by Villa) were able to snatch a point, but that was at the cottage, one of the toughest venues in the prem as I see it. Plus, I recall us playing similarly for most of our first meeting last season. After a quick two goals, we sat back and let MCFC pepper the goal and flirt with the concept of scoring. We won that one.

Say what you will about predictability, but I think Moyes has it right, or about as right as anyone could with our current squad and financials. Bring in Pep Guardiola. He'd have hibbo, Ossie and Pointing Pip trying to play the beautiful football. It would all go wrong. The team is, predictably or not, being held together by Davey Moyes and his uncanny ability to bring in young talent on marginal fees.

Here, read this factual article.

HOW ABOUT A CHART??

*sniff* it's just not the same...

According to your chart ICDamon, Peter Johnson was in charge of Everton for all of 4 months.

How can this be? a chart on wiki actually being wrong!

Fuming here lad.

Impossible, and I'll prove it.

In the mean time, look at these marginally related charts and tables.
1 2 3 4 5

The chart in question appears to say August 1999, but the 9 is actually a poorly drawn 4. Happens more than you might think.

Apophysitis and apophyseal fractures (stress injuries to the hip) also can occur in adolescents... more reasons to be careful with Barkley....

If protecting our young talent is Moyes being "predictable", I'd rather he did that so we see them blossom in 18months time and well into their 20's.

FOR EVERTON

Cause, the way some go on on here you'd think Moyes didn't have EVERTON'S best interests at heart.... FFS.

This is partially true to adolescent males, its what happened to me - i suffered a slipped upper femoral Epiphysis. Which is a total dislocation of the leg from the hip socket.
