How stupid are Manu?

He left because Ferguson told him he wasn't ready for first team football. This was when our midfield was Scholes (came back out of retirment), an ill fletcher, Anderson and Cleverly (I think Gibson as well). We also decided to play a midfield 2 of Rafael and Park Ji Sung instead of playing Pogba

He went to Juventus and became a first team player straight away and they had the likes of Vidal, Marchisio and Pirlo in midfield so obviously ready

Ferguson told a slightly different version from what I recall. You wanted to exercise an extension, his new agent was having none of it.

Hope he is an utter waste of money.

But he probably wont be.

They aren't stupid at all

Mourinho will bring them success
Mourinho is going to build an insane team. In one transfer window, before August, they've already massively strengthened, and they've kept hold of De Gea. They will probably become the Real Madrid of the premier league with a galactico signing every year or two. And they do it all with their own revenue, rather than having a sugar daddy. I admit I'm envious.

I wonder how many of those sponsors are unscrupulous employers.

I'm looking at you, Mister Potato.

those commercial deals will drop massively a few more disappointing seasons

Laughable fee for 92 million, absolutely laughing here.

You sign players for that fee when they are absolutely worldies of the ilk of Figo Zidane Platini Batistuta Baggio Raul DelPiero Maradona Romario Messi and both Ronaldo's,Pogba is just a box to box midfielder with power pace and good stamina...but to be held in the same breath as those players above...no where near.

Also Pogba bossed a really slow league where his attributes in a slow game made him stand out, also having a free role helped his cause where he is at his best,Mourinho will stifle him as he did Oscar and he will have half the influence on games as Mourinho is dead set in his ways will will curb those cavalier ways..also he was pretty average in the Euros and never stood out in CL games from what i've seen of him.

Raiola gets 18 million pound agent fee/commision for this deal as he had a 20% fee on any future sale, the man is a genius. :D

These fees are mental. I'm glad Spurs are not joining that particular party.

Need another Leicester type club to win the league next season to show up the ridiculousness of it all.

But it doesn't show the ridiculousness of it all. It increases it. Money does buy continued success.

Man United print money, the next turnover results with the 75 million pound a year Adidas kit deal on the books will have their turnover in the £500 million bracket.

They can spend 200 million a year and it won't affect the finances, even with a 400 million pound debt right now.
