Monaco want rid due to his recent injury and may be worried he will never be the same player given he's 29

Utd will only have RVP/Rooney as there strike force given Welbeck and Hernandez are on there way out, RVP is also looking like he requires time off for surgery
 
Monaco actually want rid of their big earners because their owner has just had to pay his ex wife a shed load of money in a divorce settlement, according to most journos.

That's why Falcao has been offered to us and Man City.

Yep I have read that today. Love it :D

But none of us actually know what happens behind the scenes. I personally think Pool couldn't afford his wages. FFP will effect L'poo now - if they didn't sell Suarez, they wouldn't have been able to fund their £100 mill spending spree this summer.

Spending hundreds of millions of euro just to watch them finish second, and all in front of ten thousand fans, must have got dull quite quickly as well.

Pretty sure he was their number one target, suarez must have been on about 200,000k a week when he left, I'd say he just didn't fancy them, it suits me to think that, and will provide me with popcorn against them, but still

Thinking about it, you are probably right. I forgot Suarez earned that much - I think Gerrard is on a hefty packet as well isn't he?
 
Falcao is a bizarre signing for United. Awful in defence and central mid and they sign a striker on loan who has been out 8 months with a serious injury. Hernandez is a proven finisher so why they let him go makes no sense. Falcao's dream move is Madrid so I expect when his loan is up that is where he will be off to.

The world can see they are crying out for a midfielder and a centre back.

Rooney, Van Persie and Falcao can't all play at once.
